Has brilliant golden yellow foliage all summer. The flowers are vibrant pink, maybe too vibrant, but you can’t miss the plant in the shade.

A cute dwarf mop head hydrangea with pink flowers. We have grown this small plant for years and it’s so nice to have a hydrangea only get 18”x18”. No freeze damage at 5-6 degrees

 HYDRANGEA - - PREZIOSA
An oldie but goodie. We have had H. ‘Preziiosa’ 30+ years and always enjoy the foliage and flowers. The foliage is dark green-purple and the flowers are mopheaded and can be white flushed pink, pink, purple and blue all on the same plant. This is a lovely easy plant.

 HYDRANGEA - - TAMA AZIZI
We have had this plant for 25 years and always enjoy its fat golf ball sized buds in summer. The buds are more exciting than the small lavender lace cap flowers. Our plant has formed a thicket 6’ across and 2’ tall.

 HYDRANGEA - ASPERA - MACROPHYLLA
This 12-14’ tall shrub makes a spectacle of itself each August. Our plant is upright and has large 8-10” fuzzy green foliage. The flowers are lacecap and are lavender. This plant is pretty with ferns, hostas, etc. all summer.

 HYDRANGEA - ASPERA - VILLOSA
The narrowest leaf of any of the H. aspera group. Our plant is 10' tall and 8' wide after 25 years. The lavender flowers appear in late August into September. The plant will be much more open in the shade than in the sun.

 HYDRANGEA - MACROPHYLLA - AYESHA
Has very thick leathery blue flowers. The individual flowerets have an unusual texture like soft crimped leather. The flower clusters are large and attractive.

 HYDRANGEA - MACROPHYLLA - LANARTH WHITE
Is a lace cap hydrangea with white sterile flowers and small blue fertile flowers. Our plant is 5-6’ tall and in all day shade. Where it really lightens up the area.

Is a mop head hydrangea grown primarily for its deep purple black stems. The green leaves are purple blue flowers make a pretty combination with the black stems.

 HYDRANGEA - PANICULATA - FIRE & ICE
We haven't had any H. paniculata for several years. We are offering H. 'Fire & Ice'. It starts blooming white turning bright pink later in the summer. The plant can be pruned hard and kept to 5-6' or left alone to make a large shrub to 10-12'.

 HYDRANGEA - PANICULATA - WHITE MOTH
A jaw dropper when in bloom. The flower clusters are almost a foot across and are white in the middle of July-early August. We prune our plant every winter to about 6-8’and the flowers appear in the new growth. This plant is spectacular and very hardy.

 HYDRANGEA - PETIOLARIS - MIRANDA
This climbing hydrangea has small, dark green leaves that are widely margined with golden yellow. In the spring and early summer the plant has a golden glow to it. We have Guy Mitchum to thank for this fine vine for the shaded garden.

 HYDRANGEA - PETIOLARIS - PLATT'S DWARF
Please note the change of the name. We have been selling this plant as Schizophragma 'Platt's Dwarf'. We have talked to several knowledgeable experts and they say this fine plant is actually a climbing hydrangea. The original plant at Jane Platt's garden was a very small deciduous vine.

 HYDRANGEA - QUERCIFOLIA - MUNCHKIN
A low growing form of the oakleaf hydrangea. The white flowers are large as compared to the plant. Great colored fall foliage in November.

 HYDRANGEA - SARGENTIANA -
An extremely rare hydrangea from China. Nurseries list a plant as H. ‘Sargentiana’ but it is actually H. aspera ‘Macrophylla’. The true H. sargentiana has a large furry leaf that is more oval rather than the long and narrow H. aspera ‘Macrophylla’. The flowers are light lavender-silver. We only have 5 plants this year.

 HYDRANGEA - SERRATA - BENI GAKU
Has lacecap flowers that are pink, white and red- all on the same plant. Our largest plant is 3' tall and 2' wide. We grow our plant in semi-shade but we have also seen plants in full sun.

 HYDRANGEA - SERRATA - BLUE BILLOW
This low growing H. serrata has lots of fertile flowers so the flower head has a soft hazy look. Our plants are 18 inches tall and 36 inches across. Fall color is glorious purple.

A low grower 3x3’ with inch light blue lace cap flowers. Named in England by Michael Haworth Booth (small world—we have his RHS Journals from the 30’s and 40’s). A really beautiful blue flower in summer.

The new growth is red purple in spring. The flowers are lace cap in July. This small grower will get 2’x2’.

Has golden yellow foliage all summer and is a real showstopper. The flowers are light blue or pink depending on soil type.

Has pale yellow spotted variegation in spring. Later in summer the variegation will turn yellow. Flowers are small pink lace caps.

 HYDRANGEA - SERRATA - TIARA
This pretty lace cap hydrangea is 2x2’ after 15 years. The 2-3” wide flowers are a rich light blue in July. We got our plant from Hedgerows Nursery and always think of David and Suzy when we see H. Tiara.
